With everyone looking for the best video conferencing and collaboration tool these days, many organizations are moving to Zoom. At Nucleus, we’ve been using Zoom for a number of years and have been recommending this solution to our clients for their video conferencing needs. We also recently moved to the ‘Voice’ module of Zoom and are in the midst of replacing our internal phone solution with Zoom. This will make it our default end-to-end communication and collaboration solution for our distributed workforce across Canada.

Zoom has been in the news a lot lately for a variety of different reasons (some good and some bad). In December Zoom had 10-million daily users and due to COVID-19, that number now sits at approximately 200-million active users per day. People are bound to find flaws and/or bugs as the software and platform are being stress tested like never before. Zoom responded in a blog post discussing everything they’re doing to address demand, security, and user concerns.

As an organization that supports and manages IT for its clients, we are getting a lot of questions in regards to day-to-day use of Zoom and wanted to aggregate some resources and best practices for you:

A great collection of YouTube videos for everything you need to know about using Zoom.

A searchable database of any issues and/or questions you may have about Zoom.

Book at session with Zoom and receive live training via a Webinar.

Consolidated ‘Getting Started’ information on Zoom.

A good summary for scheduling and customizing Zoom meetings.

As you can see, there are a plethora of online resources available for users, power-users, and administrators. For additional resources, Zoom has created a dedicated landing page for support during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
